I Charles Wingfield of Albemarle County and St Anns parish do make the following testamentory disposition of all my estate of what kind soever imprimis i give to my brother Francis Wingifeld my negroe man Frank, his wife Jenny and Scotts family Bible in five volumes, to him and his heirs forever. Item I give to Elizabeth Franklin for and in  consideration of her kind and affection attention to my wife and myself at all times, my negro girl Sally daughter of Frank and Jenny and her increase old Lewis Corbin and Ludwill my carriage and horses a good feather bed and furniture Sopha mehogony tea table, Anacharsis is in four Volumes, and three hundred dollars to her and the heirs of her body lawfully begotten but if the said Elizabeth should die without such issue, it is my will that this bequest go to my brother Francis Wingfield and his heirs forever. Three I give to my brother Christopher Wingfield my negro man Willis to him and his heirs forever. Item I give to my Brother William Wingfield my negro boy Charles son of Frank and Jenny and Blairs Sermons in five volumes to him and his heirs forever Item I give to Charles Wingfield son of Francis Wingfield my negro boy Lewis son of Frank and Jenny to him and his heirs forever Item I give to Susanna Franklin widow of Joel Franklin the twenty five dollars which she was to give for a Gigg harness which was never paid; this bequest is to be considered only as a release from the payment thereof Item I give to Margaret Hensly Lightfoot daughter of  Joel and Susanna Franklin my negro boy Toney son of Frank and Jenny to her and her heirs forever. Item I give to Fielding Lewis son of Howell Lewis N Garden, my negro boy William son of Frank and Jenny to him and his heirs forever Item I give to Sally E.W Brown wife of Ben Brown my negro girl Cate daughter of Frank and Jenny to her and her heirs forever. Item I give to Francis Wingfield in trust for the use and benefit of my sister Nancy Harrison wife of John Harrison my negro woman Esther and Sucky and after her death I give Esther to the Children of the said Nancy and their heirs forever I give to Polly L. Hamner daughter of John Hamner and Nancy, Evelina Bolling daughter of Sucky till she be twenty one years of age which will be on the thirteenth day December one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven she having been born on the  thirteenth day of December 1816 on the following conditions viz that the Evelina, is to be taught to read knit sow make clothes and wash and Iron and do such things in a neat manner that she may thereby get a livelihood and as a further compensation it is my will that Sucky after the death of sister Nancy shall go to the said PollySand to her heirs forever and that Evelina Bolling be emancipated. Item I give to Spotswood Wingfield son of Joseph Wingfield my negro boy David son of Sucky to him and his heirs forever. Item I give to Edward Carter son of Edward Carter and Mary R. Carter my negro boy Henry son of Sucky to him and his heirs forever Item I give to Matilda Lewis daughter of Howel Lewis my negro Girl Marth daughter of Sucky to her and her heirs forever Item I give to my Brother John Wingfield my negro woman Scillar and her future increase and doddriges family expositor to him and his heirs forever. Item I give to Robert Carter son of Edward and  Mary R. Carter my negro boy Squire son of Scilla to him and his heirs forever. Item I give to Mary L. Carter daughter of Doctor Charles W. Carter my negro Girl Lucy Daughter of Scilla to her and her heirs forever. Item I give to Mary Brown daughter of Matt and Ann Brown, my negro boy John son of Scilla to him and her heirs forever Item I give to my sister Jamima Barksdale my negro Woman Aggy to her and her heirs forever Item I give to my Brother Joseph Wingfield my negro man Stephen and his mother Judath to him and his heirs forever. Item I give to Howell Lewis N Garden my negro woman Abby to him and his heirs forever. Item It is my will and desire that Eliza daughter of Sucky Should be emansipated agreeable to my wifes desire: the time when she will be entitled to her freedom may be ascertained by the letter sent with Eliza to Howell Lewis, which will be when she is nineteen years of age, about Eleven years after the death of her mistress. Item my remaining property Money and bonds to be equally divided among my now surviving Brothers and Sisters and their legal representatives per Stirpes. Lastly I constitute and appoint my Friend Christopher Hudson and my Brother Francis Wingfield executors of this my last will and testament.
